One Room Challenge: Week 3
WEEK THREE ALREADY
And it’s been a whirlwind of productivity, adrenaline, highs, and lows!
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
The focus was on hardware, hardwood, and soft finishes. Easy enough, right? We’ll soon see! With selections needing to be made, contractors nowhere to be found, and product delays, I definitely needed my running shoes this week. And now, I am so out of breath, that I couldn’t put it into words if I tried. So I won’t. Check out the video below, to see what’s been happening with my space this past week!
MAKING AN ENTRANCE with EMETEK
Figuring out the hardware for the doors, with Emetek’s assistance was definitely a high! They were super helpful and super informative. First, we needed to identify which way each door swings. Then, we looked at each door handle’s function (dummy, passage, privacy, etc.).
Then came the fun part, picking out a styler for the room. Emetek, has an amazing line of hardware, so I knew I’d be overwhelmed, but their streamlined sight, was easy to navigate, and with the click of a few style filters, I fund my dream doorknobs in no time!
I’m doing a mix of knob and lever styles for the space, and I love the exquisite subtle detailing of each piece. I can’t wait for you to see them installed!
