One Room Challenge: Week 6

It’s Reveal Day!

We’re in week 6 of the one room challenge, and it’s time to share the final design of my shore retreat with you. I couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out.

My space is a one room coastal retreat, with access to, and views of the water.  Grounded in neutral  tones, I wanted to fill the room with all the things I love; contemporary art, industrial design, black and white photography, global influences, heavy textures, solid woods, and interesting finishes. My space for the one room challenge is extra special because not only am I the designer for it, I am also the client. As a person who loves designing spaces for others, I have found it challenging to take time away from doing what I love for others to create a space for myself.  I have also found that burnout occurs when you don't (do something for yourself). So, this one's for me.

Take a look at the pages from my style journal below, to get more info on the items I chose for my space.

Are you ready to do something for you? Send me a note, and let’s get started on your one or multiple room challenge!
